We are the makers of uLace no-tie laces. A Shark Tank company founded in 2008.

For what projects/services did your company hire MOBIKASA, and what were your goals?

When we wanted to move to Shopify we needed a great web development partner to customize the new site and also be our ongoing development partner for keeping the site fresh and optimized. Mobikasa is the company we choose and have continued to work with for the past 5-1/2 years.

The Approach

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We needed a partner that was not the cheapest but also not the most expensive and that could work closely with us to get work done speedily and also react quickly to issues and changes. Mobikasa fit this bill for us.

Our projects alway involve refreshing our website and as well as adding new products and functionality that keeps us up to date with the expectations of online shoppers.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We always have a team of 3 to 4 people working with us: a project lead and a higher up overall manager and a couple developers. The names of the people have changed over 6 years a time or two but the continuity remains.

The Outcome

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our business continues to scale and the last release of our website lest than a week ago has been spectacular.

Mobikasa recently started using a new tracking app - Trello - for our projects which has made it easy for us to keep track of progress and alert them to issues.

I think they are really good and genuine people.

There will always be some amount of language and can we get this done faster issues but we always get together to get the work done.
